The direction of progress for the seniors welfare service in the 21th century Through the analysis between korea and japan

Abstract
|

|
This study makes attempt (1) to understand the seriousness of elderly people in korea through the changes of social environment and of seniors population, (2) to analyze social measures concerning the current seniors problems by means of a developing process of seniors welfare service and the analysis of a developing process of seniors welfare service and the analysis of its present situation, and (3) to seek for the direction of progress for korean seniors welfare service in light of a four-step development for seniors welfare service applied in the advanced countries, from this point of view, the comparative result of the analysis between korea and japan presents a fundamental point of time for the direction, a political aspect, as well as a practical aspect.
